SELATEK continues its expansion by acquiring Kelmo, a full-service provider within industrial automation with particular expertise in the cable industry – an area of great importance for the ongoing green transition. The acquisition represents a strategic addition to SELATEK’s technical offering and creates new opportunities for collaboration within the Group’s automation and electrical engineering operations.
Kelmo, headquartered in Karlskrona, delivers tailored automation solutions to both national and international customers. The company has around 40 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK 150 million. With a comprehensive service offering covering everything from design and programming to installation and commissioning, Kelmo has established itself as a key partner for industrial clients with high demands on quality and technical innovation. The current co-owners of Kelmo will continue in their operational roles and will also become shareholders in the SELATEK Group.
“Kelmo is a highly skilled technical company with a clear niche and a strong reputation in the industry. Their expertise in industrial automation complements our existing operations excellently and opens up new opportunities for collaboration with several of our Group companies. We look forward to jointly developing new solutions and driving long-term growth and customer value,” says Magnus Löfgren, CEO of SELATEK.
“We are extremely proud of what we have built together with our employees and now look forward to the next chapter in the company’s journey. By becoming part of SELATEK, we gain access to new resources and a larger network, while continuing to run our business with the same dedication and culture. Together with our new colleagues, we look forward to further developing our offering and creating even greater value for our customers,” says Jörgen Ringius, CEO of Kelmo.
